Royal Visit
On the 8th of July 1913 King George V and Queen Mary were honoured guests at Pilkingtons Cowley Works. Tey enjoyed numerous activities including signing the visitors book, taking a ride on a grinding table, and accepting souveniers of there visit.
They left en route to Southport.
